Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, gently combine the chopped imitation crab meat, cooked sushi rice, mayonnaise, soy sauce, sriracha (if using), and sesame oil until evenly coated.
  3. Transfer the mixture into an oven-safe baking dish and spread it evenly. Top generously with shredded mozzarella cheese.
  4. Sprinkle sliced green onions over the cheese.
Baking and Serving
  1. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the cheese is golden brown and bubbly.
  2. Remove from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes before serving. Pair with nori sheets for wrapping.

Notes

Substitutions for Halal-friendly options include using cooked shrimp or plant-based seafood alternatives. You can prepare the crab mixture ahead of time and refrigerate. Avoid overcooking the imitation crab to prevent it from becoming tough.
