Ingredients

Main Ingredients
  • 2 pieces chicken breasts, sliced Use boneless, skinless for best results.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Adjust to taste if you're a garlic lover.
  • 8 oz egg noodles Cook according to package instructions.
  • 1 cup broccoli florets Fresh or frozen is fine.
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil Can substitute with another cooking oil.
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce Use low-sodium if preferred.
  • to taste Salt and pepper Season as desired.
  • for garnish Chopped green onions Optional for serving.

Method

Cooking the Noodles
  1. Begin by boiling a large pot of salted water. Add the egg noodles and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Sautéing the Chicken
  1. In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Once hot, add the sliced chicken breasts, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 5-7 minutes, or until browned and fully cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
Adding Garlic and Broccoli
  1. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant—be cautious not to burn it.
  2. Stir in the broccoli florets and a dash of salt. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until vibrant green and tender.
Combining Ingredients
  1. Add the cooked egg noodles and chicken back to the skillet. Pour the soy sauce over everything, tossing well to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes, ensuring everything is heated through.
Serving
  1. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped green onions, and serve warm.

Notes

For substitutions, feel free to swap chicken for halal beef or shrimp. Add favorite veggies like bell peppers, carrots for added nutrition. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to three days, and reheat with a splash of water or soy sauce to maintain moisture.
