Preparation
- In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced chipotle in adobo sauce, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into about 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a small patty, pressing them down slightly to ensure even cooking.
Cooking
- Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the skillet, allowing them to sear for about 4 minutes on one side.
- Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
- In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each slider to melt.
Assembly
- Toast your slider buns lightly on the skillet or grill.
- On the bottom half, lay down a slice of lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, a tomato slice, and optional avocado or sour cream. Top with the other half of the bun.
Serving
- Serve hot and enjoy these scrumptious bites with your family and friends!
Notes
Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap the cooked sliders and freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, or on a skillet over medium-low heat until warmed through.
