Ingredients
  

For the Beef Mixture
  • 1 lb ground beef (halal)
  • 1 tablespoon chipotle in adobo sauce, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
For Assembly

  • Lettuce, washed and separated
  • Tomato, sliced
  • Cheddar cheese, sliced
  • Avocado, sliced (optional)
  • Sour cream (optional)

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, minced chipotle in adobo sauce, cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Divide the mixture into about 8 equal portions. Roll each portion into a small patty, pressing them down slightly to ensure even cooking.
Cooking
  1. Heat a non-stick skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the skillet, allowing them to sear for about 4 minutes on one side.
  2. Flip and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).
  3. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each slider to melt.
Assembly
  1. Toast your slider buns lightly on the skillet or grill.
  2. On the bottom half, lay down a slice of lettuce, followed by the cooked patty with melted cheese, a tomato slice, and optional avocado or sour cream. Top with the other half of the bun.

  1. Serve hot and enjoy these scrumptious bites with your family and friends!

Notes

Store leftover sliders in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For longer storage, wrap the cooked sliders and freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes, or on a skillet over medium-low heat until warmed through.
