Preparation
- Preheat Your Oven: Start by preheating your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Combine Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Set it aside.
- Cream Butter and Sugar: In another large bowl, beat the softened butter and 1 ½ cups of sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
- Incorporate Wet Ingredients: Add the egg, lemon zest, lemon juice, and vanilla extract to the butter mixture. Beat until well combined.

Baking
