Preparation and Cooking
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- If using a store-bought crust, lay it into a pie dish, pressing down gently. If making your own, roll it out and place it in a greased pie pan. Prick the bottom with a fork.
- In a pan over medium heat, cook the ground beef and turkey until browned and fully cooked. Drain excess fat and set aside to cool slightly.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and paprika until fully combined.
- Add the cooked meat mixture and shredded cheese to the egg mixture. Stir gently to combine.
- Pour the filling into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes, or until the filling is set and slightly golden on top.
- Allow the quiche to cool for about 5 minutes before slicing.
Notes
You can swap out the beef or turkey with other Halal-friendly proteins. Prep ahead by assembling a day earlier and refrigerating.
