Preparation
  1. Begin by trimming any excess fat from your chicken breasts.
  2. Place the chicken breasts in the bottom of your slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, chicken broth, sour cream, chopped onion, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  4. Pour the creamy mixture over the chicken, ensuring the chicken is well coated.
  5. Cover the slow cooker with its lid.
Cooking
  1. Cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for about 3-4 hours.
  2. Once cooked, shred the chicken directly in the crock pot using two forks.
Serving
  1. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
